Appraising Performance

In this discussion, you will explore the role of performance
appraisals. In addition, you will identify the impact that the performance
appraisal process can have on employee morale and engagement. Finally, you will
explain how trust, emotional intelligence, and cultural competence can impact
the appraisal process.
Prior to attempting this discussion forum,

in Leadership for Today and the Future.

Consider your own
experiences with performance appraisals as the recipient and if you have been
the appraiser.

Find at least one
resource to support your statements in this discussion. You may want to refer

UAGC Writing Center to identify appropriate academic resources.

problems when conducting performance appraisals.

leader would reduce bias when appraising performance.
