During a period of
television or movie viewing, write down the name of a person or character who
exemplifies a high amount of intelligence for each type of intelligence defined
by Gardner (1983). For each form of intelligence listed on Handout
10-A for this week, you should write down the name of a
person or character who exhibits a high amount of that particular form of
intelligence. You should briefly explain your rationale as to why you
attributed high intelligence to each person you named. You should then
answer the three critical thinking questions on the bottom of the handout.

the introduction to the section on intelligence and theories of intelligence,
consider your positions on whether intelligence can be changed and what
implications your position would have on early childhood educational programs.
