Select the QUICKsearch button to reveal the Advanced Search
option:

Select “Advanced Search” to bring up the search options. You may
be prompted to sign in using your IWU login credentials.

Scroll down to the advanced options and check the following
boxes: Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Articles, PDF Only, and Full Text. Under
“Published Date,” enter a date range that covers the past five years.
This will limit your results to scholarly, timely sources.
9.
Select “Search,” and search for an article that is relevant to
your professional field or educational program.
10.
Download and save a PDF version of the article and read it
carefully, paying special attention to the Abstract and Conclusion.
11.
Download and save the Article Critique Template and read the
instructions carefully.
12.
Draft a critique of the article you have chosen, using the
provided template. Minimum length is 300 words.
13.
Revise and edit your draft, and then submit it to Assignment 5.4
by the end of the workshop. Also, submit the PDF file of the article
you based your critique on.
14.
For the purpose of peer review in Workshop Six, also post a copy
of your article critique (and attach the .pdf of the article) to discussion
board 6.2 by the end of the workshop.
