Description
In this part of the project, you will start the first phase of a creative brief for your book cover. View the video provided in the Project Video Links for instructions and details to help guide you through your efforts. Links to other files you need are listed below.
Objectives
Generate a creative brief for the cover, using the template below as a guide. Indicate the genre of the book, the mood that you wish to convey, and words or phrases that define how you want the viewer to feel about the book when they see the cover. For example, is it funny, trustworthy, and helpful? Inspiring? Mysterious? Scary? Action-packed? Historical? Futuristic?
To help you, investigate covers of best sellers in your book’s genre. Next week, you will add a sketch and one or two images to the creative brief. If you already have an idea of the palette and typefaces, feel free to add them this week. However, those are not due until the end of Week 3.
