M4D3: Mock Interview: Elevator Pitch (Group feedback)

Introduction:

Following development of your resume and cover letter, you now need to develop the skill of presenting yourself.  Often in life you run into situations where you need to present why you are a great potential employee without having time to prepare.  As such, it is recommended to have an “Elevator Pitch” ready.  An elevator pitch is about 45-seconds to a 1-minute where you concisely inform the listener about your experience/education and provide a great impression.  The desired outcome is the listener is thinking, “I really need to learn more about this person because they may greatly contribute to my team.”

For your mental model, imagine you are at a job fair and you have just located your dream employer’s table.
