M1D1: Understanding ITA Process including Evidence and Peer Reviews

Introduction

ITA or ITMA is an acronym for Integrated Technology Management Assessment. From here on, ITMA and ITA will be referred to throughout the course. Please be aware that this is referring to the Integrated Technology Management Assessment plan.

It is critical for you to have solid understanding of the ITA Process for you to be successful in completing your portfolio.

Completion of the activity will help you satisfy the following module outcomes:

·         Apply knowledge of math to solve technology management problems

·         Apply knowledge of natural sciences to solve technology problems

Discussion Question

Please note that an important and essential part of the ITA Portfolio Outline & Plan is to start to think of learning statements that support each Outcome and to be able to provide evidence that support the learning statements.  You can go right ahead and use the ITA Portfolio Template  download  that I have provided for you use.  By using the template, you have the correct format and outcomes. The evidence section will be there for you to complete as well.

Attach your draft resume using the ITA Resume Template and answer the following questions.

·         How will completing the ITA Portfolio benefit you?

·         What are acceptable and unacceptable types of evidence documents that can be used?

·         What some ideas and examples you will use as evidence?

·         How will completing the outline help you with the final portfolio?

·         How will you help one another throughout the course?

When responding to your peers, please be sure to offer insight, critique, and guidance when reviewing resumes for content and formatting.

Post your primary response. Read any postings already provided by your instructor or fellow students. Read and respond to the conclusions drawn by at least two of your classmates. Remember to read the feedback to your own major posting and reply to it throughout the module.

This discussion will be graded using the discussion board rubric. All discussions combined are worth 20% of your final course grade.
