ow that we've taken a look at what makes a healthy relationship, it's imperative that we also explore the dark side of relationships. 

Rather than making you do a research paper, I've partner with Forte Labs to bring to you the app HOOPS TO END ABUSE. 

This app teaches us about Domestic Violence (DV) using augmented reality. While you're playing Virtual Basketball, you will also learn the essential facts about DV, prevention and how to help.  

So, here's what you need to do for this assignment:

DOWNLOAD

1.    Download the app: HOOPS TO END ABUSE (Available for FREE in both Apple and Google stores.)

2.    Play the game multiple times. There are 4 different levels you can choose. You need to play all of them.

3.    Participate in the #SquadUpAgainstDV challenge. (See Below)

Then, create a 1 minute video on 3 things you learned while playing Hoops. 

Keep your message nice and tight. The goal here is to create videos that inspire others to download, play and learn from Hoops to End Abuse. 

We're looking for authentic, clean and clear messages that help others understand the VALUE of the app.

·         Submit your video to this discussion board.

·         Be sure to embed the video into the message. See previous assignments on how to embed your video. 

REVIEW

Respond to 4 of your peers. 

·         Take the time to review the work of your 4 peers. 

·         Provide substantive feedback on their meme and video. 

·         Substantive feedback includes:

o    Verbal feedback - The oral content of the message. Consider the information included in the message. Is it accurate? Is it factual? Does the evidence support the claims?

o    Vocal feedback - The verbal delivery of the message. Consider the tone and the performative characteristics. Is the speaker effective? appealing? persuasive?

o    Visual feedback - The non-verbal and visual aspects of the message. Both for the video and the visual aid.
