STAT 220 Week 7 Linear Regression Project

Part III Write the Paper Due Day 1 of Week 7
1.	Paper should include a title page, an introduction section, an analysis section, a summary/conclusion section, reference list, and any additional appendices.
2.	Paper should be 2-4 pages in length excluding title page, graphs/charts, reference page, and any additional appendices. 
3.	Proper APA formatting is expected.
4.	The introduction should include a clear description of the objective of your analysis, the population and sample used, a description of the variables, a review of the topic chosen and why, and a review of the quality and source of the data.
5.	The analysis section should include everything from Part II above, and any conclusions drawn from the analysis.  The paper should include relevant statistical graphs and charts -copy them from Minitab and include them in the paper.  They should be included where discussed in your paper -not in a separate appendix.
6.	The summary/conclusion should be written in such a way that a “non-statistical” person could read it and understand it.

Part IV Prepare the Presentation Due Day 1 of Week 7
1.	Use outline of your paper as a basis for the presentation.
2.	Do not read the paper! Summarize and highlight the essential points.
3.	Create the PowerPoint last to support your presentation. Use keywords/fragments as reference points and only include tables, graphs, and any other statistics that you are going to talk about during the presentation. The purpose of the PowerPoint is to support and enhance your presentation.  Eight to ten slides should be sufficient to summarize your analysis and findings.
