Purpose
To assess your ability to:
1.	Define "critical thinking."
2.	Explain the importance of critical thinking.
   
Overview
You will be assigned to a discussion board but also will visit the other discussion boards to learn about critical thinking.


Action Items
1.	Watch the video assigned to you.
2.	Post a definition of critical thinking in your own words.
3.	Explain the importance of critical thinking in science and in every day life.
4.	Visit each of the other discussion boards.
5.	Watch the associated videos and read at least one classmate's posting in each group.
6.	Return to your discussion board. Respond to your initial posting with a new posting that describes what else you have learned about the importance of critical thinking based on the videos and classmates' ideas. Update your definition of critical thinking as appropriate. If feel you have nothing to change, explain why.
