Purpose
To assess your ability to:
•	Identify properly formed deductive arguments
•	Construct examples that present deductive arguments
•	Apply the rules for arguments when producing arguments
•	Evaluate the validity of arguments

Action Items
1.	Carefully read Key Points section 2.4 (How Do You Identify Properly Formed Deductive Arguments?) in Week 2 Overview.
2.	Apply Rules #22-26 in your Rulebook for Arguments to construct examples with the following substitution (Note: You will always need to use the form provided in Key Points when constructing arguments. Also, DO NOT CONSTRUCT YOUR OWN EXAMPLES!):

d.	let s substitute I learned the material
3.	You should have FIVE different examples related to deductive arguments written in a Microsoft Word document after you complete Action Item 2.
