MGMT 308 Module 2 Case Study 2
Read the Case Study titled "The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers." After you are finished reading the Case Study, respond to the following:
1.	There is a growing perception that government should do more to protect individual privacy and ensure that individual records and files are fair and accurate. What basic issues are involved in this debate, and how might such privacy guarantees be instituted?
2.	Compare the Pentagon Papers with current incidents of the release of classified information such as the WikiLeaks case. How are they similar? Do they differ?
3.	Consider how much information the American public is entitled to. Contrast the disparity in how much privacy the government requires and how much the public is allowed.
4.	Is it ethical for the government to send soldiers to war without fully understanding the nature of the political situation?
5.	After hearing this case why do you think Ellsberg was allowed to go back to his job and evade charges?
