Mm 305 Unit 9 PROJECT The Unit 9 project is located in Doc Sharing. You should download this Word document as well as the MM305 Project Data Sets and save them to your computer (I recommend you create a file for your MM305 projects), using your name in the file name. For example, if Jimmy Buffett were to download the MM305 Unit 9 project he would use "Save As" and save the project as "Jimmy Buffett Unit 9 Project". He would save this file in his MM305 folder. After completing the Unit 9 project you should submit it using the Unit 9 Project Dropbox. Students will be evaluated on their ability to select the appropriate analytical technique and using technology to perform the analysis. They will also be evaluated on their ability to interpret the results of the analyses. MM305 Unit 9 Assignment Grading Rubric Point Possible Grading Criteria 103 - 115 points • Solutions show a deep understanding of the problems, including the ability to identify the appropriate statistical and quantitative analysis concepts and the information necessary for its solution. • The solutions completely address all statistical and quantitative analysis components presented in the task with no significant errors. • The solutions put to use the underlying statistical and quantitative analysis concepts upon which the task is designed. 90 - 102 points • Solutions show a broad understanding of the problem including the ability to identify the appropriate statistical and quantitative analysis concepts and the information necessary for its solution. • The solution addresses all statistical and quantitative analysis components presented in the task with only minor errors. • The solution uses the underlying statistical and quantitative analysis concepts upon which the task is designed 77 - 89 points • Solutions show that the student has a general but limited understanding of the problem and the major statistical and quantitative analysis concepts necessary for its solution. • The solution addresses all statistical and quantitative analysis components presented in the task with few errors. 64 - 76 points • Solutions are not complete indicating that parts of the problem were not understood. • Solutions address some, but not all of the statistical and quantitative analysis math components presented in the task. • Parts of problems were completed; however there are some problems that are not complete. 51 - 63 points • Problem directions were not followed. • Incorrect definitions were used to obtain the answers shown. • Majority of the problems were completed using incorrect equations or methods. • Parts of problems were completed; however the majority of the problems are not complete. 0 - 50 points Student work demonstrates little or no progress towards the objectives assessed by the project. This is evidenced by the student not attempting some of the problems within the project or answers that are not related to the problem.
