Jury Trial Analysis
Write a 1,400-1500 word paper in which you explain and analuze how a defendant's rights at trial can be assured. It is recommended that you use court decisions from the course materials as additional support for your paper.
Include how YOU would assure a defendant is provided the following rights: 
•	The right to a speedy trial
•	The right to an impartial judge
•	The right to an impartial jury 
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.Use the course materials as sources and Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
 
Sources: A minimum of 50% or more of your content shall be supported by course materials found in the CJA 315 Required Learning Activities including Course Materials, Videos, Learnscape and Reserved Readings. You only need to rely on the course materials as evidence to support an "A" grade
Why? Because I want the rigor of this class to be sufficiently high, so that students can learn from the course materials and not merely cut and paste external sources and barely read or view our weekly required Learning Activities.
 
Other sources may be used for less than 50% of the paper's content, but must conform to regulations of APA, UOP and the Instructor's Policies.Other sources are acceptable if they are from the UOP library or the internet and have a specific individual author or are from a recognized magazine or newspaper publication. The state and federal laws can be found in the UOP library or at the specific websites for each state.
Do not use sources such as Wiki, Cornell.com, Ask Law, Find Law, or law firm websites to name just a few. They are not valid sources according to APA and all information from these or similar sources shall be disregarded.
