2.	Determine which of the appropriation subcommittees has jurisdiction over each agency- budget request.
3.	Determine where each agency- operations fall in the functional classification of the federal budget.
4.	Pick one (1) agency from the list and, for a recent budget year, determine:
1.	The budget authority and outlays proposed for the agency, and
2.	The actual outlays and budget authority for the agency in that year.
5.	Research and cite at least one (1) peer-reviewed academic reference for each agency used in the exercise, for a total of four (4) references
