Individual Cross-Sectional Cultural Management Plan -This project will be done in Venezuela Each student will research a different particular country of her/his choice and plan, implement, and review the expansion of a United States for-profit corporation which designs, manufacturers, and markets a full line of products (physical goods). Using the Individual Cross-Sectional Cultural Management Plan grading rubric found in the appendix as the outline for the paper, each student is to develop a cross-sectional cultural management plan listing the cultural issues, components, and items being studied which need to be addressed by the selected corporation in that particular country. This project will include all those areas of concern which are covered during the study of this course, including the following: 1. Available Resources (technology, transportation, infrastructure, personnel (US & foreign), energy, raw materials, etc.) 2. Sociological Forces (language, culture, educational level, etc.) 3. Human Resource Issues 4. Economic Forces (inflation, employment, GNP, per capita income, etc.) 5. Environmental Forces 6. Legal & Political Forces (political stability, etc.) 7. Competitive and Distributive Forces 8. Technological Forces This project should trace the entire process from beginning to finish, including such items as training and preparation of personnel for their particular roles, expatriation and repatriation, cultural differences, language differences, management of the various types of risk, etc. Graphs and charts should be included where applicable. An index and a list of sources should be included. Each student will post his/her project to the class, who will play the role of the company Board of Directors, whom the individual hopes will approve the plan.
