2.	Write a 1,400- to 1,750-word paper in which you pick a minimum of five types of Mergers and aquisitions, such as horizontal, vertical, congeneric, conglomerate, spin-off, divestiture, or carve-out. In the first part, define and paraphrase each type.

3.	Search for at least one example of each M&A type that have occurred in the last three years.
 
4.	Examine the following for each M&A you select: 

What are predominant issues driving a company- interest in pursuing M & A activities? 
What has been the total value of the activities in the last three years? 
From your selected M&A-, which has accounted for the most value: spin-offs, leveraged buyouts, or divestitures? Discuss why. 
Which one has the least value? Discuss why. 
Summarize trends for your five selected activities apparent from your research.
