Help answer this with 150 words, due today

When dealing with supplier is do you think it is "ethical" for a company to force ethical guidelines onto a supplier, basically saying these are our guidelines you must adhere to these or not be our supplier? Doing this regardless of the supplier having their own guidelines in place....   Another concern is how do we deal with breaches in ethical considerations from what we would call Key Suppliers?  If they are one of the main suppliers and have an excellent track record lets say its determined that they have violated labor laws, how would you handle this supplier?
