There is an attachment that this assignment needs to be based on. It is a construction project.



WBS Tool

 

Based on your project requirements document you created from week 2, create one (1) detailed project plan in a work breakdown structure (WBS) format that has at least five major activities and at least three tasks per major activity. This means you will have at least 15 (5 * 3) tasks in your project plan. Your detailed WBS should be in tabular format, with all the following columns: 

Activity name 

Name 

Percent Completion 

Start Date 

Finish Date 

Resource 

# Days Duration 

Precedent Task     



Note: You must have data (real or imaginary) populated in your table.  You can use Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word for your project plan. Special note:  Your dates and Precedent Tasks need to make sense!  For example if task #4 starts on 1/1/10, you need to make sure that a precedent task does not start AFTER 1/1/10.

PDM Network Diagram Tool

 

The other part to this assignment is to create one (1) precedence diagramming method (PDM) network diagram that accompanies the same project. The specifications for the network diagram are as follows:





The network diagram can be designed in any drawing program you desire, including Microsoft Paint, which is a free accessory found on any Windows operating system.  

You just need to have boxes, arrows and task #’s (from your project plan) depicted. 

It must have at LEAST one PDM series relationship. 

It must have at LEAST one PDM parallel relationship. 

Demonstrate at LEAST one start-to-start or one finish-to-finish PDM relationship.
