PPA 603 WEEK 6 Public Policy

  The Final Paper will contribute 25% to the course grade.
    Focus of the Final Project:
    Utilizing a public policy of your choice from a local government where you reside, prepare a paper assessing that government- revenues and 
    examining possible funding options for the chosen public policy.  Utilizing the local government- annual budgeting documents, please 
    incorporate the following into your document.
o	Describe restrictions that are (or could be) placed on those revenues. 
o	Evaluate how public policy decisions affect the receipt of revenues. 
o	Analyze the economic conditions that affect revenue projections. 
o	Develop a revenue policy that aligns with community values. 
    The Final Paper should focus on real life, real time application of topics covered in this course; the uses you have seen and the uses you can 
    envision.  The paper must be submitted to your instructor no later than the last day of class.
    Writing the Final Paper
    The Paper:
•	Must be 12-15 double-spaced pages in length and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide.  Title, reference, and any exhibits or appendices are not counted in the paper length.  
•	Must include a cover page that includes: 
o	Name of paper 
o	Student- name 
o	Course name and number 
o	Instructor- name 
o	Date submitted 
•	Must include an introductory paragraph with a succinct thesis statement 
•	Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought. 
•	Must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph 
•	Must use APA style to document all sources. 
•	Must include a final reference page that includes the references that you relied upon in constructing your paper per APA guidelines.
