Assignement for reference: BUDGET PLANNING PROJECT DUE: Wednesday 4/29/15 The final project is to develop a detailed annual budget for a manufacturing, retail, or service organization. Describe the nature of the company and its business and/or industry. As was done in class with the Gumby Glass Company, start by developing a set of current year financial statements. Make sure the data is internally consistent. Base the budget for the company- upcoming year on clearly stated assumptions concerning relevant details: for example, sales growth, seasonality of the business, capital equipment needs, unique cash flow items. The budgets should include a budgeted income statement and a cash budget. The budgeted income statement is an accumulation of other detailed budgets, so your report should reflect some level of sales, cost, and capital budgets. The cash budget should show monthly detail. The Project is graded on: Internal accuracy and consistency of the data A level of detail equal to, or exceeding, the Gumby example Creativity
