• National debt
• Or, you can choose a topic that is directly related to your major.

What does an opinion look like? Here is an example for my industry of higher education:

I believe that in order for students to feel engaged and connected to their college courses they need to: have a strong support system; be active in their learning environment; have a high locus of control (the feeling that they can achieve anything they put their minds to); they must believe in themselves; and they need to align their academic and career goals.

• Continue the topic that you chose in Step 1.
• Locate two articles from the University Library or the Internet
• Discuss the following, in a minimum of 75 to 150 words per article:
• Briefly summarize each article.
• Is the information contained in the articles reliable? Explain.
• Are the authors credible or non-credible? Why or why not?
• Describe why you chose the article and how it related to your opinion from Step 1. 
• Consider what you have learned in the readings and our discussions this week about credible and reliable sources as you are answering the questions above.

• Finally, make sure you include proper in-text citations and references.

Reflect on your original opinion of your topic in a minimum of 50 to 75 words. Consider the following question for your response:

• Has your opinion changed after reading the articles? Why or why not?

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines by citing your references using in-text citations and include a reference page. However, a cover page will not be needed for this assignment. Total word count for this assignment will be 250 - 350 words.
