5-1 Discussion: Evaluation of Theories That Drive
Global Policy
Post an analysis of the various theoretical
approaches. The analysis should compare and contrast the different theories
used to explain a particular global matter. The initial post should also
include a brief examination of the usefulness of the theories in helping us to
understand a particular global problem.
Provide a substantive critique of another
classmate’s analysis of global political actors. The critique should include
one evaluation of another student’s discussion and a reply to at least two
other posts. In your critique, write an evaluation that includes the following:
1) a summary of your classmate’s discussion, 2) strengths and weaknesses of
your classmate’s arguments, and 3) recommendations to improve the argument. The
two replies to other posts can be a response either to a question about your
analysis or to the classmate whose work you reviewed.
