This week you will demonstrate the laws of Mendelian genetics. You will use colored beads and Punnett squares to simulate the laws of genetics. You will also grow real plants from seeds to observe the laws of genetics in live organisms. The plants
need a week to grow, so it is
critical that you start this experiment early.
Make sure you download the lab worksheet provided
below under "Supporting Materials" so that you know what is expected
of you. This week requires multiple photographs and the creation of data tables.
Remember to resize your images so they are no more than 100 KB/image when
you insert them into the lab worksheet. Otherwise, your lab worksheet file size
may be too large to upload in the classroom.
