This week you will perform another “wet" lab and demonstrate the principles of diffusion and osmosis across a semi-permeable membrane. Make sure you download the lab worksheet provided below under "Supporting Materials" so that you know what is expected of you. This week requires multiple photographs. Remember to resize your images so they are no more than 100 KB/image when you insert them into the lab worksheet. Otherwise, your lab worksheet file size may be too large to upload in the classroom.

Instructions: 

1. Download and read the lab worksheet provided below under “Supporting Materials.”

2. Complete the following activities from the online lab manual (Biology Lab button in the left menu):

·         Lab 6 – Diffusion and Osmosis

o    Introduction (all sections under the “Diffusion and Osmosis” heading)

o    Assignments, Procedures, and Lab Drills

§  Complete and pass the Lab Drill

§  Perform Experiment 2 and Experiment 4

3. Fill out the lab worksheet. Save your work as a Microsoft Word document and name your file Lastname_Firstname_BIOL133_LabAssg4
