Malware

Phishing

Pharming

·         An online scam that attacks the browser's address bar. Users type in what they think is a valid website address and are unknowingly redirected to an illegitimate site that steals their personal information.

·         A phishing attack that targets only wealthy individuals.

DoS attack (Denial of Service attack)

·         A network attack in which an attacker disables systems that provide network services by consuming a network link's available bandwidth, consuming a single system's available resources, or exploiting programming flaws in an application or

DDoS

·         Denial of service attack committed using dozens of computers, usually zombies on a botnet.
