Select five individuals, who may include friends, relatives, and
classmates, and ask them to define marketing in their own words.

Selected interviewees should represent various demographic
backgrounds and professions.

Navigate to the threaded discussion and respond to the following
discussion prompts:

Summarize the responses from the individuals whom you
interviewed.
b.
Write your own definition of marketing.
c.
Consider the areas of your life that are affected by marketing.
Do marketers develop needs or wants? Provide at least one example to support
your response.

Your initial post is due by the end of the fourth day of the
workshop.
7.
Read and respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings,
