2.6 Discussion: Video Editing

1.   Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.

2.   Decide on a video editing that you can use. Some popular ones are iMovie for Macs, Microsoft Photos for Windows 10, Google Photos for Chromebook, or even Instagram for short videos. If you already have experience using another video editing app not listed, feel free to use that.

3.   Click on the links above to read instructions or to view explanations about how to use each video editor.

4.   Using a video editor on a copy of the video you posted in assignment 2.5, include at least one feature or edit to your video. Each app may have different features options depending on which one you choose. Video editing features may include but are not limited to the following: 

a.   Trim

b.   Transition effects (fade in/out, blur, etc.)

c.   Music

d.   Title/Intro

e.   Credit/Outro

f.    Text/Closed Captioning

g.   Special effects (thought bubbles, graphics, etc.) 

5.   Save your newly edited video, then navigate to the threaded discussion and post the video. Write a short description, including the name of the video editing app you used and what edits you made.

6.   Your post is due by the end of the workshop.
