Have you ever considered how you want your own room or house to look inside? Do you think about the type of furniture you use in your home, or where you work? Why does this matter? It is important because our homes and the places we work, or visit need to be aesthetically pleasing to us. Affordable housing is an extremely hot topic right now. But, no one addresses that even if the housing is lower cost, that it should also be aesthetically pleasing! Every person has the right to have a home that is aesthetically pleasing to him/her/them! Every person has a right to have a decent aesthetically pleasant place to work! This is a social justice issue, and it is an equity issue!

·         Please read the selection taken from: The Future of Modern Architecture, by Frank Lloyd Wright. In this selection from one of his lectures he outlines his own 9 design principles in creating homes and then please answer the following questions:

o    Which 2 of his 9 design principles do you think are valid and why? Explain how you would apply these two principles to your own living space. (Choose at least 2) (90 Words)
