Overview
Paul Revere Williams (1894-1980) was a phenomenal groundbreaking
African American architect, who designed a variety of different incredible
buildings including public structures and residences. Many of his iconic
residences were for some of Hollywood's most prominent stars from the 1920's to
1970. He was the first African American architect to ever be elected to the
American Institute of Architects. What makes Williams' designs so extraordinary
was how beautifully versatile they were.
