Goodman were the hippest coolest performers of their time--just as today people
enjoy listening to the latest song or performer, back in the time of Cab
Calloway and Goodman, people were enthralled with their music. It was not just
entertainment, it was an entire cultural experience. Cab Calloway had a long
illustrious career as a composer, arranger, and performer. You may recognize
him from the cult favorite film: The Blues Brothers!
Assignment:

and Benny Goodman, and Cab Calloway, and discuss your reaction to the
music:
