Overview:
Each group has been assigned one photograph to
study. Each group will need to examine and decide how to describe it and
present it’s particular artistic features or qualities to the rest of the
class. This is your opportunity to see what it feels like to be an art
critic.
Each group member will then need to participate in a group
presentation by adding one comment to one slide in your Shared Google Slide
Presentation, so that you can present it’s particular artistic features or
qualities. This is your opportunity to see what it feels like to be an art
critic. When each person in the group has added a comment or idea from
his/her/their own post to one slide in your shared Google Slide Presentation,
then you are done! I will be presenting your Google Slide Presentations on our
Class Home Page for you all!
The Assignment:
1. GO TO Six Classics Photographs by Three Classic Photographers
(Links to an external site.) To view your assigned photograph on the
list.
2. Each group member will need to offer their
submission-150 Word perspective on your group's assigned photograph to their
group by Tuesday 2/22.
o In your post you can describe the photograph;
explain what features are impactful, what elements about it you find
interesting, and what your overall assessment of it is.
3. You should then offer a peer response to
someone else in your group by Thursday 2/24
4. You will need to add a comment about your
group's assigned photograph to at least one slide in the Shared Google Slide
Presentation for your group. On the slide you can simply take one idea from
your own post by Friday 2/25
