Written Assignment #2: Cause and Effect Final Essay w/ OTC Consultation

In Unit 2, you composed a cause-and-effect essay.  Prior to submitting your final essay:

·        Review p. 451, Active and Passive Voice.

·        Edit your draft, focusing on writing in the active voice.

·        After reviewing Chapter #2 pp. 30-48, focusing on revision, editing, and proofreading, your OTC and your instructor's feedback:

·        Submit your final process essay (do not include Graphic Organizers).

·        Remember to read your essay out loud at least twice, making your own edits and revisions.

In the submission of your Final Cause and Effect Essay, be sure to include an in-depth overview of the following:

·        What have you learned from this strategy?

·        What you gleaned from your OTC consultation/feedback, and instructor feedback.

·        How each helped you to submit a better final written essay. 

o   Did you learn more from one entity over another?

·        Reflect on how you might use the cause-and-effect writing strategy in regards to your future career.  

Requirements:

·        Prepare a quality, substantive paper that addresses the objectives of the assignment and the expectations set forth in the grading rubric.

·        A minimum of 1,000 words excluding the title page and references is required.

·        Write in the third person.

·        Use APA style: Refer to APA Resources and the Online Tutoring Center resources in Academic Resources (see SC College Resources Links) for guidance on writing style and page and citation formatting.

·        A minimum of four credible sources of evidence in addition to course resources that have been published within the past 5 years is required.
