Written Assignment #1: Comparison and Contrast Rough Draft

In Chapter #8, you learned the following two methods to organize a Comparison and Contrast essay:

·        The block

·        The point-by-point methods.

For this assignment, you will select one method and complete the corresponding Graphics Organizer. You will include the organizer with your draft.

Select one of the following categories as your topic:

·        Healthcare: symptoms, treatments, office procedures, or record-keeping methods.

·        Law: case studies, witnesses' testimonies, or legal procedures.

·        Education: teaching and learning methods, models, and styles.

·        Computers: hardware, software, applications, or designs.

·        Culinary Arts: ingredients, cooking styles, menu designs, knives, or cleaning methods

·        Business: business models, lending sources, locations, products, and services.

Requirements:

·        Prepare a quality, substantive paper that addresses the objectives of the assignment and the expectations set forth in the grading rubric.

·        A minimum of 750 words excluding the title page and references is required.

·        Write in the third person.

·        Use APA style: Refer to APA Resources and the Online Tutoring Center resources in Academic Resources (see SC College Resources Links) for guidance on writing style and page and citation formatting.

·        A minimum of four credible sources of evidence in addition to course resources that have been published within the past 5 years is required.
