Written Assignment: Cause and Effect Rough Draft

For this Unit's writing assignment, you will need to complete and include the Graphic Organizers, The Effects of a Major Cause and The Causes of a Major Effect. Be sure to submit them with your draft.

Choose one of the following topics for your paper:

1. School shootings have become a dark reality in America today. Write a cause-and-effect essay focusing on the perpetrator or the victims of these tragedies.

2. Discuss family roles, specifically family roles, and the impact of Feminism on women's mental health.

3. Causes for computer crashes or software freezes, effects of implementing a new software program or network.

4. Causes for an accident or dissolution of a marriage, effects of negligence, or a violent act.

For your final draft of this assignment, you will be required to consult with the Online Tutoring Center to help you polish your paper before submitting your final draft for grading.

Requirements:

·         Prepare a quality, substantive paper that addresses the objectives of the assignment and the expectations set forth in the grading rubric.

·         A minimum of 750 words excluding the title page and references is required.

·         Write in the third person.
