Perform the following

1-      Develop your PICOTS (explained in graph 3)

2-      Perform the search on Pubmed and Embase with flowchart following Prisma using predefined search words (graph 1)

3-      Develop PICOTS table for selected articles

4-      Develop Table for results including the following only: Adjusted measure of effect, sample size and confidence intervals (Graph 2)

5-      Develop table for quality assessment using the critical appraisal tools provided

6-      Do your analysis on Revman 5 and get results including forest plot and funnel plot

7-      Write the report which should include the following

a.       Abstract

b.      All outcomes of sections 1 to 6 

c.       Interpretation of results

d.      Recommendations and conclusion based in results


Requirements for the topic

1-      No published SR or MA in the previous 3 years

2-      At least 8 studies in full text that meets your inclusion criteria

3-      Topic suitable for meta-analysis meaning no extreme clinical heterogeneity and with similar measure of effect (OR, RR so forth)
