Weekly Article Shares

Every Monday, beginning Week 5, an individual team (starting with Team #1) will share a recent article, blog, campaign, etc., in the form of a mini-PPT, with the class. The research you find/present must link to the current week’s reading assignments and video lectures. Groups are required to highlight key terms/concepts from that week's chapter and connect them to a recent article from a legitimate source i.e. AdAge, AdWeek, WSJ, Business Insider, RetailDive.com, HuffPost.com, etc. which they will share in class.  An example from a previous team is posted above for your reference and should be used as a general template. Each article share will have a different sequence and flow based on key learnings from each chapter. A source list is required at the end of your presentation. It is also required that you include a list of 3 to 4 questions posed at the end to engage Q & A and insights from your fellow classmates. Be sure to review the detailed rubric to ensure you hit all deliverables. One team member must upload the Article Share PPT to Canvas by the specific due date. See the Course Schedule or the Weekly Canvas Pages for your Team's specific due date.

Keep in mind the following when creating your PPT presentation and when delivering your presentation:  Use static text and visuals in your PPT but not videos because Zoom does not play videos well through the system. If you want to play one or two videos (not longer than 2 minutes each) as part of your presentation, please email me the video links the day before the presentation. I will add them to our session agenda and prompt students to watch the videos before your presentation. On your presentation evening, one group member should manage the PPT slide show for all presenters (this way you don't have to be in the same location) and all group members should equally participate in the actual presentation. I highly recommend your group host a Zoom session to practice before your actual presentation.
