Chap 5 Group Assessment - Advertising Campaign Management (HofE, Means-End, and Message

individual areas of contribution per the syllabus and course requirements. Only

For each ad, please answer the following questions:
1. Explain how the Hierarchy of Effects model,
the Means-End Theory and/or Verbal and Visual Imagery are incorporated into
these campaigns to influence purchase decisions.
2. With respect to "Advertising Campaign
Parameters", which advertising goal(s) do you think these campaigns are
trying to achieve? Explain?
3. In terms of the creative brief, who do you
think is the primary target audience for each campaign? Explain.
4. Also in terms of the creative brief, what
message theme do you feel both campaigns convey? Or, is it a combination?
Explain. (Note: Message themes can be oriented toward either rational or
emotional processes. Left-brain themes resonate with our logical/rationale way
of thinking and Right-brain themes resonate with our emotions and feelings.)

is trying to use one or a combination of the following models to launch their
new product. Specifically, are they using Hierarchy of Effects, Means-End, or
the Verbal and Visual imagery model - or a combo of two or all three?
