Before the Mid Semester Check-In (Week 8), you will post a Site Analysis of your internship organization on Canvas. The Site Analysis should be at least 1200 words and include the following information in a narrative (be mindful of transitions and flow):

·         Your organization’s history, mission, and goals

·         The populations your organization works with, the social, economic, or political issues it addresses, and the organization’s methods for intervention and engagement

·         The structure, staffing, and funding of your organization (use the Matrix Map article as a guide)

·         Talk to your supervisor and/or other staff members at the organization to get their testimonies and perspectives on the work they do. Include relevant photographs/images (as permitted) to help illustrate your narrative

·         Your role as an intern and the community engagement aspect(s) of your internship

·         Connections between your internship organization and internship seminar, reference articles and/or discussions that relate to your organization

·         A description of how you apply academic knowledge in your internship

·         Explore how your Community Partner has been impacted by and adapted programs due to COVID-19
