Module 11 Assignment: Leader
Interview Candidate Submission
This is the
deadline for the submission of the Leader Interview Candidate in accordance
with the assignment requirements, which are listed below. This is not the
submission page for the entire project, please only submit the name of the
person you plan to interview.
Each individual
student will submit a video/zoom/ interviewed they conduct with an approved
(see above) leader in pdf format through Canvas. Requirements/criteria
and details for this assignment are below.
Instructions
·
The interviewee must be currently in a leadership position in an
organization (for profit, nonprofit, governmental) at a middle-management
(usually with a position title of manager, director, VP, or C-suite, e.g., CFO,
or above level in the organization.

Organization size is important.
o In the profit sector: 100 or more employees, $5M or more
in revenue.
o Nonprofit (e.g. American Red Cross, Volunteers of America,
any 501c3 organization): 50 or more employees, budget of $2M or above.
o Governmental (local/state/federal): 100 or more (in the
specific function or agency where the interviewee is performing) employees,
budget of $1M or above.

Interview should last no longer than 10-12 minutes. I
recommend developing 4-8 questions for the subject to respond to during the
interview that are focused on the subject’s views/opinions/actions/decisions as
a leader.

RESTRICTED OR BOUND TO THEM!
o Give us a few examples of your responsibilities as a leader
and/or manager.
o How did you learn to lead?
o Were there any leaders you admired that you’ve learned from?

o How would someone else describe you as a leader?
o Do you have any advice for young leaders?
