Special hazard
fire protection systems are prevalent throughout our communities. For this
assignment, you are to pick three different special hazard systems that are located in your
community and provide a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) Response Sheet for
those systems. The FAQ response sheet should focus on the topics below:
§ What are the
components and operation of the system?
§ How does the
system interface with other fire alarm systems?
§ What hazards
are the system compatible with?
§ Are there any
maintenance recommendations?
§ Are there
special operating procedures (if necessary)?
§ Is a hazardous
condition the product of activation?
Each of the
three systems should have 5–7 questions and answers for a total of 15–21
responses. Source material should be used to support your answers. A minimum of
three sources should be used, and all source information must be cited and
referenced according to APA-Style guidelines.
