Respond to one of the following questions for your initial dialogue post:

1. In the poems we've read for this unit, each of the speakers and/or main characters are defined by their interpersonal relationships. Discuss how the speaker or main character in one work understands him or herself in relation to other people. Use specific details from the poem to support your response.

2. Which poem strikes you as quite contemporary in that as it addresses concerns familar to us in our society? What does the poet seem to be saying and how might that apply now? Be sure to reference specific details in your posts.

Submit your original post (200-250 words) and two response posts (100-150 words) in the Group Dialogue area under Unit 4 Forum. You can either click on the link above to directly access the Group Page or on the Group Dialogue link on the side menu. When you are on the Group Page, click on the group highlighted for you. Once inside, click on Discussion Board option, then click on Add Thread to create a space for your post. Click Submit to make your post available to the rest of the class.
