literature, such as a novel, a play, a short story, or a comic book are adapted
into a film.
Description:
Please complete Parts I & II.
Part I: Introduction
Please introduce yourself in the class.
Topics might include where you work or plan to work after
completing your program, are you in or have served in the military, something
about your family, and any hobbies or special interests. Also tell us why you
are taking this course and what you hope to gain from obtaining your
degree. In addition to introducing yourself please complete the following
in this initial post.
Part II: Novel Choice
In this discussion, you will select and post your
novel choice for the Week 7 Final Project.
You must select a novel that has NOT already been adapted into a film. Select
literature that will be available to you and which you will be able to read
throughout the next 6 weeks.

Please choose a literary text (i.e. a novel, play,
nonfiction, biography, etc.) between 300-400 pages that has NOT been
adapted into a film version as of yet.

The goal of this post is to have you commit to a
text and start reading it. Of course, for those of you who have already read
the book, you should be rereading it.
