For this lesson discussion, we turn to
the solar system’s most tiny, and perhaps most important denizens, asteroids,
comets, and solar system debris. We will explore how these remnants of the
formation of the Sun and planets continue to impact the evolution of the solar
system to this day, including life on Earth, and what they can tell us about
the formation of the solar system.
Answer at least one of the two discussion questions by the midpoint of
the lesson (Wednesday for a one-week lesson and Saturday for a two-week
lesson) and respond to at least two of your peers, or the instructor
follows up posts, in either thread no later than the last Sunday of
the lesson.
You will get a maximum of 15 points for your initial
discussion answer to Q1 or Q2 (choose 1) and a maximum
