HUMU-250: Research Project Multimedia Presentation Script
This assignment
requires that you produce a working script for your Multimedia Presentation
assignment. The narration portion of this assignment should be three to four
pages (750-1000) words in length, which should take about 6-8 minutes to read.
Don’t worry
about this being your final copy—think of it as a well-developed, polished
draft. Once it is finished, it will be easier to make changes and search for
appropriate images, audio, or film clips based on what the script is covering.
Practice reading it, over and over. If you find that certain sentences don’t
make sense or read easily, change them. When you know the script well enough,
it won’t sound as though you are “reading.” That’s what you want—to sound like
you are just speaking normally, not from a script.
As you fill in
the table below, make sure to add in the photos or links that you will use
(these can change if you find something better later). If you don’t have or
cannot find the image yet, use a brief explanation of a photo/multimedia item
you think would work well. Google photos has a lot of images, as does
Unsplash.com, but you are not limited to them. The example below uses a 10
second clip from a Star Trek film.Make sure that anything you use is permitted
for educational purposes.
