Week 13: Solving ODEs with Laplace Transforms

Please remember that you must post something by Wednesday of each week. Also, your Homework must be attached to your post by Sunday at midnight.

Look at all the discussion problems §7.5: 17,18 | Ch 7 Review: 43-52, and identify a few that you find interesting and tractable. Select and discuss one of the problems that has not yet been presented. If all this week’s problems have been taken, then you may cycle back and discuss an unaddressed problem from a previous week.

Spend some time considering your problem and working through the relevant concepts.  You do not need to answer a problem in its entirety. Your words must completely address at least 1 aspect, i.e. section, of your discussion problem.

The focus here is on conceptual understanding and not mechanical problem solving skills.  Conceptualization and understanding remain uniquely human skills.  In the future, you will need to solve problems that others have not yet solved.

Remember that you must read and respond to your classmates' posts.  You must reply to at least 2 of their posts during the week.

You may incorporate mathematical symbols directly into your text, or you may use the LaTex equation editor that has been provided ... see the f_x button in the toolbar. 
Either way, please do not add attachments (other than your Homework set) to your posts.
