Week 11 Forum ARC LENGTH

QUESTIONS:

1. Functions can be written with several entirely different formats. One example is y can be written as a function of x like y=f(x). List the other two ways to define a function.

2. List the formula we would need to use to find s the length of an arc for each of the three scenarios above.

3. Come up with a specific example for each of these not found in Thinkwell.

4. Find the arc length in each of your examples above.

5. Select an arc length problem from the internet that is NOT in Thinkwell and solve it.
