Final Project Prep

In preparation for your Final Project, begin researching magazines—in print or online—that interest you. Select one or two feature stories that would be good models for your Final Project. For your Final Project, you may choose to write a feature story that will add to what has already been written, or you may be inspired to write on a different topic. For this assignment, you will write a proposal for your own original feature story that you intend to write for your Final Project.  Your proposal must include

• What you think is already known about the topic

• What you think may be new, 

• How you will research it (electronic resources, interview key subjects, etc.), 

• Who your audience is, 

• What your writing style, tone, etc. will be. 

• A list of sources you may need to write your feature story, including a summary for each source 

The paper must be 500 – 750 words in length total (excluding title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least two scholarly sources (at least one of which must be found in the Ashford University Library) in addition to your selected model feature stories and other than the textbook to support your proposal.
