HCS 455 WEEK 2 Policies are constantly being reviewed and considered to help improve the federal, state, or local health care systems. Each one has the potential to affect each of us on a daily basis, so careful consideration must be given when policies are proposed. It is important to understand the process of how a topic eventually becomes a policy.
Write a 350- to 700-word summary on your selected policy topic and the stakeholders affected by the topic. Your stakeholders, for example, may be veterans, the elderly, HIV patients, or the uninsured. A minimum of two references are required.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines. Do not use first person on this or any assignment for this course.
Choose a health care topic for which a policy might be formed. Be sure to look ahead and choose a policy topic that will be suitable for both parts of this assignment, due in Weeks Three and Four.
