Instructions: Be sure to read and study all of the illustrations of the Justification Memo in the textbook. Your version should be formatted exactly like the illustrations for: spacing, margins, and sub-headings. Keep to one page.
Choose [1] of the following writing options. This is an exercise in writing a persuasive memo. Be sure to review Toulmin.
• Option 1 - If you are an experienced worker, think of an idea you would like to implement on your job such as ways to increase productivity, improve service, increase business, or improve working conditions. Write a justification memo persuading your audience that your idea is worthwhile. Your memo should be analytical and clearly include at least fourelements of Toulmin. It should be at least 300 words. Compose your memo in a separate word doc., or rich.txt file, name your file: then submit as an attachment.
• Option 2 - If you are a full-time student, think about some change you would like to see on campus. Perhaps you would like to promote something new such as changes in course offerings or requirements, an off-campus shuttle system, or changes in the grading system. Write a justification memo persuading your audience that your idea is worthwhile. Your memo should be analytical and clearly include at least four elements of Toulmin. It should be at least 300 words. Compose your memo in a separate word doc., or rich.txt file, name your file: then submit as an attachment.
