Complete one of the following three assignment options:
Option 1: Paper
Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper that includes historical background on the mathematicians, their time period, and the contributions that affected their society and modern society.
Provide specific examples of how the mathematical developments affected society. The examples you provide should reflect your research and your own ideas.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
Option 2: Collage or Infographic
Create a collage or an infographic illustrating the topic your team chose in Week 1.
Include historical background on the mathematicians, their time period, and the contributions that affected their society and modern society.
Provide specific examples of how the mathematical developments affected society. The examples you provide should reflect your research and your own ideas.
Include presenter’s notes.

Provide APA-formatted references for any sources you use.
Option 3: Presentation
Create an 8- to 10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation based on the research for the topic your team chose in Week 1.

Provide specific examples of how the mathematical developments affected society. The examples you provide should reflect your research and your own ideas.
For Local Campus students, these are 15- to 20-minute oral presentations accompanied by Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentations.
For Online and Directed Study students, these are Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentations with presenter’s notes.
Format any citations in your presentation consistent with APA guidelines.
